Some of the places near Kheer Ganga that you can visit are Bageshwar; Located on the bank of two popular Rivers Gomati and Saryu, Bageshwar is well-known for its temples and rivers. The place is blessed by Lord Shiva and thus most of the temples found here belong to the different incarnations of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Bagnath Temple is the major attraction here and the place is renowned for its Uttarayani Mela, which is the biggest fair in Kumaon region.

If you are planning to visit this place then you can reach Pandusthal taking a bus or private cab. A bus service is available from Garur to Jakheda. From Jakheda one can trek 20 kms.through the mountains.
Shri Haru Temple : Shri Haru Temple which is 5 kms from Bageshwar is an important shrine. It is believed that the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled here. A large fair is held here on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashmi.
